Dr. Bendall grew up in Toronto, but after spending four years in Waterloo, Ontario completing her Optometry degree, she has endeared herself to all that Waterloo and the surrounding areas have to offer. In 2018, she graduated from Guelph University with a Bachelor of Science Honors degree with distinction. Dr. Bendall then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean’s Honors from the University of Waterloo in 2023. She was awarded the Alcon Award for Excellence in Ocular Health for being the top student both academically and clinically in diagnosing and managing ocular disease.
Dr. Bendall is passionate about patient centered care and providing a full scope practice. Her specific interests include ocular disease, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes. She also loves implementing myopia control and monitoring for progression, as well as diagnosing and managing binocular vision conditions.
When she is not in the clinic, Dr. Bendall loves to swim, cycle, gym, explore new places, and spend time with her two fur babies, a maine coon, Lala and a DHS, Twist.
